Hello, hello, hello, my beautiful souls. I am so excited to be here with you today, and I just want to steal a few minutes with you and the real you. I want you to take a second and close your eyes and go back. For some of you, this might be way back for some of you, this might just be last month, but I want you to go back to the time.
That someone truly saw you, not the version of you that you showed to the world, the real you. The one where you're sometimes scared to look at in the mirror. Maybe you were 10 years old standing in the school way, heart pounding because the teacher just posted the cast list for the play, and your name was there in ink for the lead role.
You never thought you were good enough for. And when you looked up, your teacher was smiling at you like she'd known all along, that you'd belong on stage. Maybe you were 25 drowning in self-doubt at a job that you hated, convinced you were average at best until one day your boss called you into her office, closed the door, looked you straight in the eye and said, I see something in you that you don't see yet.
I'm giving you this project because I believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And in that moment, you felt 10 feet tall for the first time, or maybe you were 40 standing at the edge of the scariest dream you've ever had. Quitting the safest job writing the book, staring the business in the eye, and moving across the country saying yes to love again.
Every voice in your head screamed, you'll fail. But your best friend, your ride or die sat with you on the floor of your apartment surrounded by packed boxes, blank pages in divorce papers, held your shaking hands and said, I am with you every terrifying step. You were born for this jump. Do you feel it?

Do you feel it? The warmth in your chest that you're remembering right now, that's what it feels like to be truly seen. That's the moment that someone looks past the fear, past the failures, past the I'm fine mask and says without words. I see the light in. You even when you can't, and I'm not leaving until you see it too.
We're all walking around starving for that. We refresh our phones hoping for a sign that we matter. We downplay our wind because we're afraid of looking arrogant. We hide our dreams because the last time we shared, once someone laughed and we went silent. And then we shrink. We play small. We let the gift inside us gather dust because no one's looked us in the eye and said, I see it.
I believe in it. Go. But here's the truth I need you to hear today. The world doesn't need another perfect person. It needs the real you. The one, the only the you that you can be, and someone out there is waiting. To be changed by exactly that. I'm begging you today to be the person who sees you. Be the teacher who puts that shy kid's name on the list and changes their life forever.
Be the one who looks. Someone in the eyes, your child, your partner, your coworker, the quiet one in the back row, the stranger crying in the store and say, I see you. I see the dream. You're scared to say out loud.
I see the potential you keep talking about and keep talking yourself out of. I see the courage it takes to get out of bed some days. And I believe in you more than you believe in yourself right now. This is the rarest most soul touching gift one human can give to another, and when you give it away, something miraculous happens.
You finally start to see yourself the way you are always meant to be seen. So let today be the day that we stop waiting to be chosen. And start to choose each other. Let today be the day that we trade likes for looking someone in the eye trade filters for beautiful to the messy truth trade. I'm fine for IC you and you are extraordinary because the deepest ache in the human heart isn't that we're unloved.
It's that we're unseen and the greatest healing we'll ever know begins the moment that someone finally says, I see you. The real brave, terrifying, brilliant, you and I'm still here. Now go be who you were born to be. I've got you. You are seen today. You are believed in, you are not alone. And the person who needs to hear that the most might just be the one listening right now.
So take the risk, chase the dream, step onto that stage. Someone out there is already cheering for you and today.
And today that someone is.
And today that someone is me. I love you. I see you now go change the world by being fully unapologetically you.
